Good place to go with the kids

    Hi,

    We have a 1 year old and a 4 year old.
    I am mad to get him skiing, so we are thinking of going in December.

    Any pointers on a good diy holiday destination for a family of our ages ?

    We would need a creche for the little one as both their Mum and I are keen skiers

    Rob, couple of things you want to look at, areas with one base location, As the kids can only come to one place and will put the parents mind at ease. There are some companies who specialize in Family stuff, Mark Warner being one of the better ones. Couple of suggestions below. i would focus on Autria if I was you probably the most family friendly and best set up for it some ideas below.

    If you want to go Solo, Saas fee in Switzerland, Kids stay free in most of the Hotels, travel for free on the train and will get free lift passe. Great facilities and plenty of Nannies working in resort - It is VERY VERY Pricy though.

    Nassfeld in Austria pretty much a sole family resort.
