Sounds like a fitting issue- tried using foam/silicone covers?

And are these the old earBUD (round) or earPOD (oval) ones?

I've used Shure SE215s for gym/cycling. They offer amazing isolation and a brilliant sound!

Koss KSC-75, clip-on earphones. Small price (around €15 delivered from amazon), big sound.

Earpod oval ones mate. There were grand for beginning, but after a month or so , they dont isolates outer sound, and right side went quieter than left.

That's what I use in the gym, they're great at what they're for (although I do have fitting issues with the right ear, that's down to my ear and shure's design as I have no such issue with the UM3x using the same foamies)

Meelec S6 cheap. I have the M6, not best sounding earphones but good for the gym.
