I am finishing a IT course with Fas in November and need to have level 5 maths to get into the course I want in college next September and I can't find a course that's not within the syllabus for year long course that you have to apply for through CAO

At the moment i have level 5 Communications, a good few level 4s without maths and the A+ and Network+ certs.

Any ideas on where I can do it?

Double check your requirements in case it is a full Level 5 award in one sitting that you need for your college course. All CAO courses require a full course. Level 4 programmes are not always accepted as part of a CAO application and finally make sure the codes on your modules are accepted as FAS codes were not accepted until they changed to the new courses in the last year.

If it is only FETAC Level 5 Maths you need then contact your nearest Education and Training Board (formerly VEC) and ask them as many of these modules are offered at night.

    Best of luck
