MP3 Player - Best Battery

I need suggestions for an MP3 player that has an extremely long battery life. Basically, i'll be doing some long distance cycling, and may not be able to charge my phone / mp3 player for a few days. I plan on having an external charger, but the longer the battery lasts the better. I'll keep my phone (which is currently my mp3 player) for GPS and similar more useful tasks.

Nothing fancy, and i don't care about the display. Basically, a bog standard drop and drop mp3 player.

Have you considered a usb charger for your bike? If you're going a long distance it might be worth your while getting one of those instead.

Solar charger would work too.

Additionally, I would advise against listening to music while cycling, since car drivers in Ireland are universally deaf dumb & blind.

Cheers lads, will take a look at the chargers and see what they are like.

And i know, generally a bad idea to cycle with music, but i'll be cycling some long distances and i'd probably go stir crazy with no music or audio books to keep me entertained.

sony mp3 players have great battery life.
