    Hi guys,

I am currently living in Ennis and want to commute to Galway for final year of college. My intention is to buy a 2003 Audi A4 1.9 TDi. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on these cars? I would love to buy from a garage with warranty but pricewise I'm guessing I'll be buying private.

It's a tough ask to find one that hasn't been totally ruined at this stage. It's a 10 year old car at the end of the day, mileage likely to be mega.

Plenty of other efficient yokes out there for the money. You're gonna pay big bucks for the Audi badge

i know someone who wa soffered 4k on a trade in (against a newer audi) for exactly that model. they seem to be up for crazy money. supply and demand again. lot of them seem to be lowered as well.

I would not put much faith in the warranty on offer by a dealer on a 10 year old car. Anything worth while will be factored into the higher asking price.

Also as said most of them are either knackered at this stage with intergalactic mileage or have been "felted" out into RS4s beyond recognition.
