Found this on youtube this evening despite previous failed searches. Quality isn't perfect but i won't complain!

Said i would post it here given that others might appreciate it as much as i did. Really great and genuine speech from a great golfer who i had fond memories watching back in the day

Was watching highlights of the 2000 open and us open on youtube before finding this. Great to see him come back and win in 2001 after such a disappointing final few holes the previous year when playing with Tiger

Never know what to make of Duval. Apart from being the 2nd best player Ive ever seen (behind Woods obviously), he always came across as one of the more likeable Americans in many respects. He got a lot of kudos from this speech of course; it was unexpectedly heartfelt and very sincere and contradicted his image as cold and clinical. I also vividly remember his match against Darren Clarke in the singles in the Ryder Cup in 2002 at the Belfry, where the golf and sportsmanship were top class from both. Duval holed a putt from 15 feet on 18 for a par 4 then conceded Clarke's 2 and a half footer for a halved match at a time when the result was v much up in the air; if the USA had won that year, that putt wouldve been as lauded as McGinley's was. He was also one of the few from the US team to pop into the Euro team room after for a beer, and comes across as well liked and respected by the other players

Then again, he was also one of many to disgrace himself in '99 at Brookline, and his recent criticism of Snowden on Twitter (an overly simplistic "traitor" was all he had to contribute) suggests he's plenty capable of blind, mob patriotism and as right wing as any of his peers on the PGA tour.

Im still rooting for him though, would love to see him win again.

As twitter goes I like him, has some fresh thoughts on alot of aspects and as the Snowdon incident showed he doesn't hide his true feelings. I wouldn't dislike the guy for his opinions but I'd respect him for putting them out there like that in the first place.
