    Hi guys,

I don't want any advice or anythimnh that can breach this thread but here goes.

My best mate bought an item off adverts, a pc component and it turns out its not working.

According to him he reckons this item has been dead for a while.

So if he took the item to a repair shop and the guy could print out a document stating that the estimated time of death of that item was like --- week/month. wouild a court act on it if he took the seller on fraudulent charges.

Plus are sale on adverts subject to the small claims court ?

    thanks
