    Hi All,

I have to go to The Clontarf Castle in the morning. I wanted to know, which is the best means of public transport to go there and how long would it take? Also, where would I get off? (N.B. Will be traveling from the south city centre but can travel to O'Connell St. or nearby).

    Thanks in advance!

    D

130 bus from Lower Abbey Street - directly across from the entrance to the Peacock Theatre (side entrance of the Abbey Theatre).
No more than 20 minutes in the morning to the Castle Avenue stop.
Ask the driver where to get off - you will have a walk of about 300 metres from the junction of Castle Avenue and the coast road to the hotel entrance.
Alternatively if you stay on the bus til the last stop it leaves you closer to the entrance to the hotel.
