think this was the trickiest velogames team to pick yet! lots of very good evenly matched mid price riders. and lots who rode the tour so its hard to know how well recovered they'll be. i tell ya, this life ain't easy...:P

I have Theo Boss as my sprinter. I saw earlier that w was a non starter and only tried to change my team now... too late unfortunately so I am a man down.

Nico Roche is the highest performing rider on Velogames , next is Alxendre Valerde

It seems if you have these two riders you are laughing.....
Only problem a lot who picked Roche picked Martin...

The real problem is if you picked didn't pick Roche and picked Martin (and Mollema and Sanchez......:o). Still - have now moved back up to 2nd last. Hoping to hang on to that!:o:o

well ended up being a poor vuelta for me. fini halfway down the boards league - positives Jrod and valverde and meersman. mistakes were Nieve Clarke txurruka and finally betancur ha! oh and choosing dan over nico was a mistake ha

A pretty woeful 55th place for me. Betancur was the big let down for me. I did get a few stage wins with Nibali, Gilbert and Stybar. I had Dan instead of Nico.

Wooden spoon for me. Nibali scored over half my points so I dread to thin how far adrift I'd have been if I'd gone for someone like Sanchez or Henao.

Nieve, Clarke and Betancur all disappointed in that regard. Thought I was being clever going for Paolini over Moreno as well.

Desperate showing from Riis's Pieces. Lampre-esque (My new favourite word).

Betancur, Ten Dam, Henderson and Puccio all failing to break 100. Nibali, J-Rod and Spartacus my only decent scorers. Biggest mistake/misfortune was choosing Martin instead of Nico, but who could've foreseen how the Vuelta would go for the Irish.

Finished 46th out of the 68 Boardsies. Beat Dastardly so not all bad

Biggest mistake was trusting my own judgement. Had been thinking "Niabli and Roche - won't win so don't bother with them" - Doh! Must remember a rider can get a bazillion points without actually topping the podium on the last day. That & no more sammy sanchez (what was I on?)
