Hi all, looking for a good hands free system installer in the Dublin or Kildare area. Found a few on google but would be happy with some recommendations on personal experience.

All I need is the parrot unit changed in the car as the buttons are broken and the screen is cracked so not even any major wiring to be done

    Thanks

I've been using JDM since 2006. Don't see them that often nowadays, as most new cars are coming with built in Bluetooth, but if I wasn't happy, we would have parted ways a while ago.

01 20 50 500, based in Bray but mobile. If you go with them, make sure Paul fits it.

I have a few bits for sale on adverts, maybe this is the screen in question? If so you can swap it yourself.

Its really easy to swap if you're anyway handy, its just the one cable that goes back to a box, usually in the dash. It simply plugs out and plug in the new one. No cutting or joining wires.

You would be surprised at the high number of newish cars that came with no bluetooth, no navigation etc...Not even a spare wheel these days :D

It's a parrot ck3100. Would it be fairly easy to fit a new screen/controller, or will there be trim removal needed.

I used this crowd about 18 months ago, and was quite happy with them. They travel within Dublin and come to you - not sure if they'd go to Kildare.

I had better luck trying the mobile number listed, as the landline mostly goes to voicemail, and the email responses were a little slow.

My screen is not compatible with yours.
Yes very easy to remove the plug on the back of the screen actually. You could grab one yourself from ebay/adverts/etc and do it yourself.

Thanks. Might give him a bell, I'm in leixlip during the day most weeks so wouldn't be too far. Some installers on adverts supplying the mki9200 which is what I need to upgrade to as the iPod integration in the Laguna is crap
