Unfortunately not for a road race - it's just not logistically possible between the calendar dates and the volunteers available, but we're looking at running a TT in Roundwood on Sat 14th September.

Would it be of the uphill variety? And would it be possible to have different TTs for each grade so that the A1s don't just mop them up?

That's a pity, the new surface on Callow Hill has bedded in nicely and would now be great for racing up.

The Bog 2 Day is being run by Western Lakes CC on August 31st and Sept 1st.

Its the Charleville 2 Day that is on the weekend of the 7th and 8th.

Of the hilly and technical variety: http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/271896017

You'll see a post when I have all the details, but it'll be the same TT for each grade. If you're asking about prizes, I imagine there'll be some for each cat.

To the best of my knowledge, and I'm open to correction, there're no points for TTs outside of stage races and national champs.

I thought they were 3-2-1, the Sorrento one was like that i thought, but i am also open to correction.

    Hi all,
The Orwell Wheelers Noel & Kieran Hammond races have been rescheduled for September 14th in Roundwood. Because of the late date and difficulties with re-organising race routes etc with Co. Council & Gardai we will be running a 32.5km sporting Time Trial. There will be a very generous prize list for all categories Junior, Ladies, A4, A3 and A1's.

The course is a sporting course (no big hills!) but rolling and can be viewed at www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/271896017

For those of you asking about points, yes because of the length of the time trial there is points available to riders 3,2,1.

Sign on will be at Roundwood GAA Club from 8.30am with 1st rider off at 9.30am at the back of the Vartry reservoir.

Hoping we get some support on the day and we will be back to normal next year ! Thanks
