I just bought a Saab convertible however the softtop has some green-ish stains on it.
Anyone have tips on how to best clean and maintain a softtop?
    Thanks.

    E.

Renovo do a complete kit, which includes mildew cleaner.

    Halfords also do a version.

I used meguiard cabrio cleaner and weather proofer.

I think I have about half a can of each left if you're interested?

Hover off any lint left on the top, if it was like my car after cleaning it will be full of lint. Just hover it off.

The top on my car is navy blue, don't know if what you have is only for black ones?

That's a vinyl roof on the mx5, the Saab has a mohair roof, so he may need different stuff?

Says on their website it's suitable for all canvas and mohair tops so should be fine.

Wash the car with pressure washer.
Spray on APC and agitate with a nail brush
    Rinse
    Repeat APC and agitation
    Rinse
    Let it dry
    Protect it

Best thing I've used is gtechniq i1 - expensive, but its durable and offers great protection

I use AG on my mohair Spider. Brilliant results, and lasts for ages.
