Medical Card Given: How does this affect previous tax?

    Hi all:

    My partner has recently been made redundant, and we have been granted a medical card.

    I'm still working. I presume my tax status will change (I'm A1 tax level).

    Will I now be given a refund in tax automatically in my wages? Or does this only apply from her on in?
