    Hi guys,

I Have lots of Mc Donalds toys, from the very first items right up. I'm now hoping to sell these and know they go for a lot of money and some not so much. I'm just wondering if anyone knows a place to sell them? Or if anyone knows of an Auction House specialising in Collectable toys in ROI? Pref Dublin but anywhere in ROI.

    Thanks in Advance

Ebay or a UK auction house are your best bet as no Irish saleroom really does specialist sales of this kind of stuff. Personally, unless they are very valuable I'd go the eBay route as you won't get the same exposure anywhere else.

Yeah I've thought about that but it's a huge collection so UK wouldn't be an option. Ebay is brutal to sell them on, they do have loads on the site, but hardly any have sold. Thanks for your suggestions.

If they aren't selling on eBay that tells its own tale. The eBay audience is massive and if they aren't selling there it would suggest that there's little demand for them. Mass produced items for the collector are rarely of significant value unless held on to for years.

Limerick Auction Rooms http://www.lar.ie/ hold occasional sales of collectables and you could do worse than give them a ring.

    Hi,

Thanks for your comment. They're worth quite a bit. The ebay, as you say, are the newer mass produced items of higher years. There is little demand for the newer ones but a huge demand all over the globe for the older collectable ones, I just don't know where to start to sell them. Except with an auction room. thanks for your suggestion, I'll give them a ring and see what they say.

    Thanks! :D
