Its seems like they are back with a bang. I think they look lovely, however any time I have ever tried them on, I actually cant stick the feeling of my big toe being squashed for more than 30 seconds. Is there anyway of making them more bearable? :o

I'm loving them! Saw a beautiful Kurt Geiger pair on asos over the weekend - reduced from 160 to 50.... went on today and they were gone - gutted. I always feel a bit..... claustrophobic when I first put them on but the sensation passes :)

Topshop have great pointy shoes at the moment - bought the black pair for a wedding and they were unbelievably comfy!! I think they have them in lots of different colours too

Those topshop ones are lovely. I wish I could wear them. I am a complete wuss when it comes to heel height as well as pointiness.
I guess I'll have to content myself with admiring them on other people.

I refuse point-blank to wear pointy shoes. I have size 7 feet so adding another inch or two of point at the front of them just makes me look like Sideshow Bob.

Or you get the ones that start to curl up at the point, and you look like an elf walking around the place. No thanks, this is one trend I'll be roundly ignoring.

I'd be so tempted to give someone a righteous kick up the hole in them aswell. Fr. Ted/Bishop Brennan style...

Urgh, that's such a bad look! It's as if they were made cheaply on a last made for a different style completely.

I do like the pointy shoe thing though. I have a couple already and I'd love these (they look pink here, but are more cream and black):

Oh those are nice. I have freakishly long toes, though, so pointy shoes and I are just never going to be friends. My big toe is the same length as my little finger, like.

Me too I'm a size 8 - my friends are all size 3's and 4's, they get a right laugh when I get new shoes and they wanna try them on..sneers.... My comeback is - I've big boobs, I need big feet to stop me toppling over :)
