BTEA to Jobsbridge to BTEA, is that possible?

I just found out that there is a good chance that my 4th year add on course will be cancelled due to lack of students. I received the BTEA for the previous 3 years and expect to get it again in September. I'd really like to do this course even if they decided to run it only every 2 years. I can't do it without BTEA so if I was lucky to find full time work for a year I would only have whatever I saved. So I'm wondering if I got a job through jobsbridge could I go back on the BTEA after that or is that against the rules?

As long as they do not overlap you should be ok - but check with the SW first. My scenario was a bit more complicated and all was fine - I did a springboard course at the same time as a J/B - which was fine as long as the Springboard didnt impact the J/B. Both are now finished, but and I should hopefully (paperwork permitting) be starting a full time college course in the next few weeks.

But like I said go talk to your local SW office.

Thanks Bonkeydonker. I'm half afraid to tell the SW what I'm at sometimes in case it's wrong. I'll check it out anyway. A few people on here have said jobBridge is treated like employment so I'd have to be 9 months on J/A again to qualify for the BTEA. Fingers crossed course won't be cancelled anyway :-)
