Mid-sized case

I'm moving to Canada for a year and I want to bring my PC with me. I have a slight problem though in that my current case is a Coolermaster Haf X which is both enormous and heavy (15-20kg for the case alone) so I was planning on buying an affordable, mid-sized case for the year. I did a bit of digging on my own and it seems that both the Antec 300 and the Antec One are fairly solid cases and I know it's a good brand. The can also each be bought on Amazon for less than £50 with free shipping. I'm wondering if this is a good idea to go for or if there's a better case at a similar size and price? Whatever case I get, it will need to have space for 4 HDDs and an SSD (could be 3 HDDs if there was a hotswap slot) and 2 GPUs which I think most cases can fit anyway.

Alternatively, would it be a good idea to try and transport the components without any case and just buy a case over there instead? I might still have some empty boxes I could bring the stuff in...

Have a look at the Fractal Design Core 3000, or the Fractal ARC Midi. They're among the smallest full ATX cases on the market and Fractal is a great brand, better then Antec IMHO.

The Core 3000 is around the same price as the Antec 300, but has a lot more features. It also looks very similar to the Antec 300 actually.
The ARC midi is slightly bigger i think, but it's more expensive.

The Aerocool RS-4 is another recommendation. It's cheaper then the Antec 300 and has more features as well as that it has handles built into the top which makes it more portable.

The HAF 912 Plus is also a good choice, basically a smaller version of your HAF-X.

There's also the Corsair Carbide 200R, which is also cheaper then the Antec 300.

Also something to note is that the Antec 300's HDD bays are non-removable and it could interfere with longer graphics cards. Most of the cases I put up have removable HDD bays so you can fit any size GPU.

Why not just sell your computer minus your data drives here and buy another computer over there as it would be much cheaper and then there is no risk of damaging it or cost to transport it?

Thanks for the recommendations. I think the Fractal Design is a little too expensive considering I only want it for the year but the Areocool and the Corsair ones both look very good.

I hadn't really thought about that but most of the stuff in my PC is at least a year old now and I'm leaving very soon, just 9 days from now. Is there really much of a chance that I'll get a quick sell at a price that will save me money? I have a GTX 560 Ti which is okay but not going to sell for much online and I don't want to upgrade until the new ATis come out so I probably want to hang on to that. I do want to hang onto the case for when I get back too as I really like the HAF X. So I would basically just be selling the board, CPU, memory and PSU.

For the record I have an ASRock Pro3 board, an i5 3570k, 16GB of RAM and a 750W Thermaltake PSU.

Which Fractal case? The Fractal Core 3000 is the same price as the Antec 300.

What site? I was just looking on amazon and it's about £80 for the Fractal.

I was looking on Scan.co.uk, both cases are about £57.

Considering they're both the same price on that site I assumed they'd be the same on Amazon.

That spec hardware usually sells really quickly on adverts. Considering the extra in cost of transporting it and how cheaper it is over there to buy hardware you would save money selling it most likely.
