Remove car phone system when selling?

I have a really good (Novero) and very necessary car phone system in my car which I'm currently trading in. Does it cost much to remove it so I can keep it? I'd imagine any places that installs Bluetooth phone kits/car stereos should be able to swap it out for you. You will need to ring them for a price though.
