We need to stand up to them. On the 18th of September I am calling on everyone to come and support this lock out.You have plenty of time to organize baby sitters, day off work, or better still national strike. Make your voice heard. If 5am is to early come when you can. We will only have one shot at this so make it count. A blue flu day would help and any army personnel would be more than welcome.

    5:00am until 9:00pm

    Leinster House, Kildare Street ,Dublin

I don't know if it will make much difference, but worth a try.........

Surely locking them IN would be better.

To what end would this be? Give us the plan.

I also want to add that the 1913 lockout is way over-hyped. And it most certainly wasn't in aid of the poorest in our society, a common enough misconception. Sure the RC church even had a hand in making sure no Irish child could go to england and expand their horizons a little bit, in case the protestantism rubbed off on them.

Are these people off their rockers? They're calling for serving members of the Defence Forces to lock the Government out of Dáil Éireann.

    Up against the wall!

I'll bet 50% of them will be neck beards with Guy Fawkes masks+fedoras or college age "anarchists" who don't know how an economy works. This won't change a thing to be honest.

    50%? fifteen of them then.

Would a permit not be require to hold this and does not said permit give the protesters a specific area to hold the protest?

Lock em out - day off with pay, lock em in, probably a free bar and a day off with pay due to "extreme circumstances". How about "Lock em up"? About four years should do the trick.

If this is meant to be a coup, that's a piss poor call to arms.

    You can't have 50% of 3 people.

Bookface is soooo underground, as is the tunnel from Buswells to Leinster House.

Someone should report the facebook page to the police.
Trying to stop the government going about it business and encouraging the army to engage in what could loosely be called a coup d'etat. Treason charge imo.

Eh, you do know Grand Theft Auto V is released on the 17th of September?
I am in my shíte going anywhere near the Daíl.

It's not the best protest idea but I don't see anyone else coming up with anything - what would you recommend we do?

This is the same lot that tried to organise a "occupy dail eireann" event back in june.

The plan was to surprise the authorities and storm the place.....but they advertised it on facebook, had no plan for what to do when they had downed the government and the message got mixed in with the anti flouride campaign and every one got confused.

2100 said they are going, I bet about 10 turn up.

Whats up with the 5-9 time? Are they going to let them in at that time?

Count me in. The ones moaning are the ones who haven't got the balls to stand up for themselves.

I had my name down for about two years for this. The new release date is just another tease, just wait for it.
