I'm looking to get a hotel voucher for my parents (wedding hank you) and I'm wondering what suggestions are out there... They like good food and have already been to the likes of Ballynahinch, Ashford and Neven Maguires. Co. Clare is also out as that's where they live!
I had thought about The Cliff House Hotel what d'you reckon...? I know the Cliff House is quite modern but theyre also into "old world"/manor house style. Thats what's holding me back from booking there. Any other ideas?

Well the Cliff House is excellent and I would highly recommend it, the rooms are very modern but they are extremely luxurious and the view is amazing. The food is obviously not bad as well.

For my 40th a few years ago the missus booked the Gordon Ramsay experience in the Ritz Charlton in Enniskerry which was lovely. I'm not sure if the quality is the same or not but it could be worth having a look at it.

The Cliff House is lovely. For Old world charm i would recommend The Village at Lyons in Kildare. Its very pretty, lovely charm and really nice food and they also have a cookery school there.

How about Parknasilla in Co Kerry. Fantastic hotel with lots of history attached to it.
