Is anyone even getting 24mb?....do you have to be 3 feet from the exchange or what?

Getting 19mb-ish. Pretty close to exchange. That's during work hours.

I get about the same as yourself - I'm about 500m from the exchange but I know the duct run is a bit longer than that as it runs up and down the streets in the estate.

Hmmmm, it'd probably be too weak for 15. You could call and get them to try it just in case, but I wouldnt hold my breath.

Its at the main phone point yeah?

Whats your internal wiring like? Your noise margin looks pretty lowish - I think if your speed were to go up significantly you could begin to get drop outs.

You'd need to be living in the exchange to get 24.

I'm ~1.7km from the exchange and getting
    Speed(Down/Up): 12288 kbps/670 kbps
    Line Attenuation(Down/Up): 35.9 dB/ 21.6 dB
    DSL Noise Margin(Down/Up): 6.5 dB/ 19.1 dB

I get 16mb and I've no idea how far I am from the exchange. I've Sky.

According to all of them, I'm 1.1km from the exchange, although I am around 400m from upcoming VDSL cabs. I get 16mb out of 24mb for a line that's 1km long, is that good?

Some of the locations are so correct you can find the exchange on the street view :)
And 16 out of 24 seems legit if you're 1.1km+

Although my Sky Hub syncs at 16mb (I get around 13/14) according to any line speed calculator I can find, including Sky, Vodafone and Eircom all say my line can handle only 12mb, so happy days for me I guess :P

Its normal to test lower than sync on DSL.

Yeah...no phonewatch or anything added, directly connected to the only socket. Jaysus!....you'd think i could get 13mb at least!

    I have sky.
, was ment to be getting up to 12 Mbps but because fibre is available in my area my profile was droped by eircom to 3 Mbps, i live as the crow flies 200 metres maybe less from the exchange.

It's not an excuse from sky by the way it's an issue there having with eircom..I can't wait for sky to jump on the fibre as I can get up to 70 Mbps when it launches

13mb here, weirdly eircom only installed 13mb cards at the exchange ,im about 650 metres from the exchange, i should be getting better speeds if they bothered to install better cards.

For some reason pings have started to rise this past week at peak hours.
Previous to that its been rock solid.
