Hi guys, Im looking to trade my 08 comfortline Golf for a similar automatic car. I am hoping to get around 8,000 for the Golf and am willing to put another 3,000 with that. I don't know much about cars but I would like a small Golf type car no older than 2009 that will last me a good amount of time. Any advice would be extremely welcome, thanks :)

A Prius mightn't be on your list but well worth a test drive.

    Audi A3 S Tronic, (Automatic)
I had a 08 Golf and swapped for the Audi A3, basically the same car but with a better quality feel to it.
should hold it's value as it seems to de desirable as a used car.
