I have one in left hand.
Cheap, durable and does the job. The pocket on them is also very handy.

I have one of them, an older model with laces instead of velcro straps, and it's not worth a crap.

No matter how tight to strap it to the stock as soon as you place your cheek on the pad/stock it twists off the stock. The time it takes to place you head straight down on the pad without twisting it is too much, and it's useless in anything other than a range situation.

Depending on the design of your rifle stock, and your willingness to pay for a decent cheek riser i'd suggest a Karsten one. Have two and they are a piece of piss to fit, and excellent.

    Check them out here.

They look alright infairness I'm not gone on the bullet holders on the sidekick rather have a pouch on the belt for that or something.

I have to say the karsen one looks like the right and only job but the thoughts of putting two hole trough the stick doesn't sit well with me. I know its not hard to do or anything just putting a drill to it.

It's actually something I need myself.

The Karsten is a great piece of kit. Adjusts to any position, rock solid, and comfortable.

The drilling is the only drawback, but if it's something you are not prepared to do then don't bother with. Also be aware of your stock design. Straight buttstocks are best suited. The curved design of the thumbholes, and the cost of other stocks might cause problems.

I went with them because for the target rifle, and hunter the stocks needed them, and were not so expensive that drilling them would be an issue. Also when i sold both guns i left the Karsten go with them.

I have bought literally a dozen different kinds over the years. They all have their advantages and drawbacks. Some, as said above, would twist no matter how tightly i attached it. Some were just bulky and i did not like the feel. As was said above i prefer to use a bullet pouch rather than have too much attached to the stock. Others held well, but did not rise enough to be effective.

Down to personal taste i suppose.
