BTEA and night course

Hi, I'm going back to college full time in September and currently have all my btea forms in being looked over. In the meantime though an evening course has come up that I'd love to do as well as my full time course (it's just 1 night a week so not too much extra work).

Do you guys know if I'd be offered any help paying to do the extra course at all? I'd love to do it but the 350euros up front just can't be done at the moment as things are so tight financially. I understand I'd get help because of the JSA but would I still get help with them knowing I'm going onto btea.

There isn't really much that I can think of

The only thing is if the course is certified - ie - you get a FETAC qualification or something like that then you might possibly be able to apply for a TESG grant - you can sometimes apply for these through a local partnership company or local employment service network

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
