Planning conditions question

I am doing a garage conversion and have applied for planning to have a window and single door installed in place of the garage door.

The council have granted me planning but one of the conditions is that I resubmit the drawings without the door.

Is there anything I can do to keep the door?
Will I need to lodge a planning appeal with an bord pleanala?
Whats the chances of that being successful?

    hi there,
the planners have taken issue with the door, reason should have been provided with the condition. you can appeal the condition to ABP within 4 weeks of the decision if you wish. ABP will decide after approx 18 weeks. no one can tell you what ABP will decide. if planners requested that you leave it out of the plans there was probably a good reason, but hey, planners can make poor decisions too, if you feel it was unreasonable, appeal.
if you deviate from the conditions you are open to enforcement action.
    i hope this helps.
