I have an interview next week for 11 hours job-share. Just wondering what kind of contact you get on job share.

Is it different to a usual RPT or pro-rata? Or are there any major issues I should be aware of taking this sort of post?

    Thanks

I did a job share before - I had my own classes for most of it and shared just one class - it meant I saw them for one single class a week and I was given a certain part of the course to do - bit of a humdinger but the kids adapted quickly and just got on with it
Thing to watch out in my experience was the time tabling - with travel and childcare to pay for I got lucky and was only timetabled over 3 days - don't think it'd have paid me to do it over 5 days
Key question to ask at interview would be wether the classes would be shared between teachers or whether you'd each have your own classes
