Maybe I'm being a bit stupid and will get a negative response but here goes:

Sorry in advance for being too descriptive

2 weeks ago i stupidly had unprotected oral sex with an ex of mine. It only lasted a couple of seconds before i stopped. There was only a little bit of precum BUT i had a canker sore, which i heard is a passage for hiv into the bloodstream. Thing is i've no idea of his status. I had my annual sti screening 2 months ago and all was cleared. I dunno what to think he was abroad with work for 6 months and i know from past experiences with him that it is possible for him to be doing anything or with anyone.

I dunno if it's regret or guilt or a mixture of both that has me worried. My past relationship was an abusive one and it took me a long time to get away and build my confidence slightly. I think that is where the trust issue is. I'm upset for my lapse in judgement and worried for what i might have exposed myself too. I have another 2 weeks before i can go and get sti checked and if its anything like the last 2 the wait is going to be hell.

You will definitely need to get yourself tested, no question. Especially as you have no idea what he has been up to and who with.

If you are worried about the possibility of STIs, go talk with a Clinic. No one here will be able to tell you whether or not you are fine.

They are possible to transmit via oral sex.

Get tested, but try not to worry too much. There isn't a lot you can do at the moment, hope all is ok.

You'll have to wait six months after exposure to get tested, but to be honest the odds of catching HIV from oral sex, even if he was positive are tiny, so I wouldn't worry myself too much. So just try and relax in the meantime.

I'd be more worried about the fact that you're hooking up with abusive ex boyfriends.

Get yourself checked ASAP to be sure. Try not to get down on yourself over it though. I spoke to my doctor before and she said while STIs can be transmitted through oral sex, it's not as easily transmitted as with full on sex. You're probably worrying over nothing but it's best to be sure.

There's no point in getting tested immediately, because HIV is not detectable until six months after exposure.

In most people it is detectable sooner. You can get a test around 4-6 weeks after exposure, but a follow up is recommended at 6 months to be on the safe side

That's not true. They can check for it after one month these days.

Of course get tested OP but I wouldn't worry about it at all to be honest. It's very unlikely you'll have caught something, especially not HIV.
