    Hi all

Looking to put sky into a home gym.

I have a Sky + subscription in my living room and want to be able to have it in the other room. Cabling is not an option here.

I was looking at this in maplin

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/hq-5.8ghz-video-sender-kit-510577

I called into my local maplin today and the staff member said that this unit may/may not be able to transmit recorded sky programs.

does anyone have this unit and have any experience of it?

may/may not be able to transmit recorded sky programs.

This transmitter will transmit whatever is on your current TV (so yes it will display recorded prorgams).

Since its 5Ghz it should be fairly reliable as the 2.4ghz frequency is just packed atm with all home routers, keyboards and so many wireless devices using it.

And Power City do a Philex 5.8Ghz Video Sender that works perfectly with a Sky Box.
