This panelling was used years ago on boats. I want to get some replacement. I understand that it is not available anymore but is there a substitute available and whats it known as??? I am looking for a vaniered white for the ceiling.

The name doesn't ring a bell have you got a photo of the stuff your looking or can you describe what it's made from and what the finish is like.

These do some but I'm not sure about white http://www.wallerwickham.ie/csd/ you could also try http://www.dpv.ie/ and http://www.woodworkers.ie/ would the hardboard stuff that you find on the back of presses work it would be cheep and easy to work with but would have to be kept dry.

Newman Sheeting used to sell it, now Noyeks Newmans. Worth a phone call. They sell waterproof HP laminates as well so might be an alternative there.
