    I'd forget about it if I were you. You really shouldn't have lost more than a couple of seconds dealing with the alarm - and if the distraction really did throw you off that much, you're only making yourself look bad by telling them that. If I were you, I'd forget about it, say nothing, and hope for the best. Good luck! :)

    Would tend to agree, I doubt the company in question would make much of an allowance, just chalk it down to experience.

    If you really feel you must tell them about it, I'd wait until I was having a face to face interview with them and make a joke about it... how you did everything you could and your phone even powered itself on and starting sounding an alarm...

    But like the others say I would try to just forget about it.

    I once took a test for DAA in my college library. There was construction work on going outside and they cut the cable providing internet to the library and a few other buildings.

    DAA didnt care, once you start the test thats all they register, so I doubt they will take the my phone distracted me, In the real job world you will have 100+ distractions every day.
