Does the money in your bank account matter?

Hi, i've an appointment schedule to claim for jobseekers allowance next month. A checklist of documents was given to me of which bank statements from the last 6 months is one of those documents. I currently have around 7k in the bank from a combination of third level grants and a scholarship I was awarded. Will I most likely get my claim denied because of having this much money in the bank? I still live at home and both my parents are unemployed. Thanks for any help
