Looking for a bar in town to hold surprise party, any suggestions? Problem is it is planned for 14-Dec so everywhere busy. Generally we drink in Cassidys, Against the Grain & Foggy Dew but would like somewhere different

There's a few bars in Ennis that do surprise parties alright, what size crowd are you expecting?

If you drink in Against the Grain, WJ Kavanaghs on Dorset St does the same type of food/drink and they do parties. Had my birthday in their last year round Christmas but booked it months in advance.

O'sheas on the Quays, across from 4 Courts

They were sound and let us book a stripper for a stag 3months ago

Jack Nealons in Capel St (Temple Bar end) has a great upstairs room. Free if you bring a crowd. Has a bar and barman provided too. Was at a party there a few weeks back. Great big airy room.

I'll second this. Went for a work related drinkies there. Although they didn't have a late bar, the Bagot Inn a few doors down did (and everyone just waltzed down).

Northside, I'd say Slatterys. You can book the upstairs part.

For how many people? The clarendon bar has a really nice room on the top floor.

It's not massive, but perfect for most partys. It's the penthouse bar in the pictures.
