Very happy with the couple we have. haven't used much Simmental here before though just to throw a disclaimer in there.

Great muscle maybe could be a little taller though

What's wrong with the KFY calves you have? Are they PB or comm?

Seaview Tommy (SEV) in Dovea is an underrated bull in my opinion, he maybe what you are looking for??? Just a taught

Apz is only suitable for tall cows/heifers IMO, he is short but had good width to him, agree regarding sev super bull breeding cattle with plenty if scope, we have a hand ful of cattle by both bulls and this was our experience

Had a cracker SEV bull calf out of a very ordinary cow too.

Easy to see why you are looking for a change so. We had some cracking stock of KFY, mainly off shapey Lim cows. Couple of nice calves off CQA too, bulls unfortunately!
We have since gone away from Simm to breed replacements. The bull weanlings take too much of a hit at the Mart. But that's another story!

4 calves by him this Spring. Weighed all calves yesterday and the 1 APZ bull calf I have is by far and away the best of all the calves and has had a ADG of 1.45. The next nearest calf is a CH DZP at 1.25kg ADG.

The three heifers are average but out of the poorer cows in the herd. Ave ADG 1.00kg. Having said that they are improving with time and I'm anticipating they'll make nice replacements. The three cows they're out of aren't great milkers.

If you search back through the photo thread they're all on there around the end of June (photos taken on 25th and 26th).
