couple of issues come up on a cartell check
the car is registered as an automatic but is actually a manual
has a tax gap of of a year from 05 to 06
a change of ownership 4 days before the last sale in 2009

    enough to be concerned ?

Tax gap is probably someon being tax exempt. Change of owner was probably a part time dealer buying and selling. Auto / manual is strange but probably nothing to worry about.

Just make sure to get it looked over by a mechsnic especially if its a private sale

All those are worrying factors for me.
Depending on the car and the availability of others in similar spec I would be on to the next one. This is an example of where cartell charges saved you from a potential money pit!

I would guess the car is an import, Dealers usually get 99% of the VLC right, but imports are regularly messed up.
