    Hi all,

As above, there are white patches on both our cars, a 2002 and a 2012.

It seems to be a sticky residue...

Where I park at work has a lot of trees so I'm wondering is it the sap from the trees?

Is there anything that I can use to remove it?

    Thanks.

Would you drive both cars to work?

Are they stored in underground parking at all?

Yes, I have tried washing the cars!

Its only on the bonnet, none on the roof etc.

Yep, I drive both cars to work.

It's in an open carpark with trees.

Some sort of weird white bug marks? No pics I guess?

If its a sticky residue a car shampoo with some hot water should get it off, at least somewhat. If its baked on bug splats it might be easier to get a bug remover to help your cause.

I will take a pic tomorrow.

    Most likely tree sap!

Im out of the country at the moment...is the weather good at the moment? On a sunny day, parking under a tree will have it covered in tree sap.
As above, hot water will help remove it!

Depends on your definition of good when it comes to weather and this country. ;)

It's not raining at the moment but you certainly won't be getting a tan either. It's cloudy like normal.
