Worst episode yet, so much time wasted at the funeral, the climax of Bill's prophecy was poorly done. How they've wangled another series I'll never know.

Ye not great, and Eric ripping off the doctor's "bits" was probably one of the most horrible things I have ever seen on tv,and not necessary, and I have a very high tolerance for tv violence.

They wrangled another series because people are still watching it, including me. As much as some of the stuff this season has annoyed the hell out of me, I still watching the damn thing every week. I'm sure there are plenty of other people in the same position.

As for the episode, was OK, nothing special. I CAN'T BELIEVE how much time they spent on that damn funeral. I actually liked the rest of the episode, so found myself fast forwarding though all the funeral stuff. Its starting to get interesting, what with the vampires being able to walk in the day and being extremely pissed off. Also the tainted true blood. It's just the rest of the crap they throw in between that I don't care about.

Woah, I'm still watching it every Monday without fail! Just really annoyed at the wasted time on the funeral as it was pointless, Terry was nowt but a peripheral character and even then his storylines were rubbish.

I was completely agreeing with you, was just pointing out that its because of suckers like us that there will be another season :pac: In saying that I'm sure I will be foolish enough to watch the next season too

Eric, Sarah and Jason saved the episode, need to see Jason dream of Eric now please :)

That was AWFUL. Seriously, who wrote that? Possibly one of the worst episodes of TB I've seen, and there have been a few clangers. Sure, the funeral could have been a touching send off, but there was waaay too much of it, and the pointless back and forth between what was supposed to be "emotional" (I'm sure) to the action in Vamp Camp gave me whiplash.

And why was Alcide at the funeral? Had he ever even met Terry? They really do try to shoehorn him in everywhere.

RIP Steve Newlin. "I love you... JASON STACKHOUSE!" was hilarious, but not enough to save the episode.

Damn y'all. I thought it was a good episode. A good send off for a character that was there since day 1. Plenty of plot holes though but **** it it's true blood

Thing is,it was a character no one cared about, not me anyway,in fact I had forgotten he was there since day one. He was a background character that they started giving crap storylines to just becasue he was there, much like Hoyt, and it always took away from the main storylines.

The funeral and flashbacks were well done,if they had been for an important character then they may have had an impact, but I too felt like fast forwarding through the scenes to get back to the vampire camp.

My sentiments exactly! A quick 5 minute funeral scene would have been enough. Instead they spent about 20 minutes in total on the damn thing. I was actually waiting for something to happen during the funeral scene, like vampires showing up or something along those lines. But alas, no, pure boredom if I'm honest!

Yep, I thought that the funeral being in the same graveyard as the fairy fort Waldo is in that something would happen but no, just mushie time wasting filler.
Liked Eric going on a rampage, didn't like the funeral.
This needs to end soon, actually it needed to end at season 2 but too late for that now.

I think this is a better Season than the last few, I have enjoyed all the episodes up until the incredibly long funeral scene. I checked to see if he had passed away in real life as it went on so long, but no, they needed an off-beat storyline to match the carnage at the facility, so Terry's funeral was given the nod.

yea I think this is the best season in the last few years and it's helped alot by the drop in episodes I think. This episode was one of the poorest of the season which is strange as they're usually at their best at this stage.

The counter balance of the funeral with vamp camp did not work at all. There was no real emotion in the funeral for me and it felt like pure filler to slow things down. Big John singing his song at the funeral intercut with the violence at vamp camp fell flat as well. I could see what they were going for but they completely missed the mark.

We'll see what gets setup for next season but I'd be surprised if it wasn't the last season.

What genius thought an episode-long funeral was a good idea? Sometimes the juxtaposition worked - mainly the song and teasing Jason blowing the head off Sarah (which would have been a very interesting character change if they'd gone there, but then True Blood has enough walking dicks as it is) but it mostly just clogged up the good part of the episode at the facility. Warlow's proven to be fairly useless beyond being a blood farm for all the hype given to him last year.

It's hard to root for the vampires in all honesty, apart from maybe Jessica's new boyfriend and maybe Godric they're all assholes on some level.

Are we to assume vampire kind is already fúcked given the tainted True Blood is as far as Hawaii and already being drunk? Surely we're not going to have Eric going Superman on the world and flying about 'saving' vampires? At least let this season have some semblance of consequence, Christ.

How did Sarah get away when all the vamps ran off looking for her? It's not like they didn't know she was up on the roof. Even Jason found her. Was sure one of the vamps would get her.

How were the other vamps able to walk in the sun when Bill just fed the ones in the room where they were meeting the sun? Or are we to believe that any vamp can pass on their blood?

I hope to God this blood wears off very soon, sure Russell had a load of Sookie's and it only lasted a few seconds. Even if Warlow's is strong for being a full Faery or whatever it should have a relatively short half-life before it's washed through the system top.
