As I'm leaving the country for a year I've decided to sell my road bike frame which has served me very well. I'm going to study in China for a year and will pick up a replacement over there to keep me ticking over.

I got the frame from HongFu, who I've found to be a very reliable company based in China, in July 2011 (build thread can be found here). It got very light use (max 1500km) until October 2012 and since then I've put about 7000km on it (at time of posting Strava has me at 5,858.7km for 2013).

The frame is 54cm BSA (Shimano compatible; adapters will be required for a SRAM/Campagnolo groupset) matte black and DOESN'T have a clear coating on it. Stealth look I suppose you could say. Takes a braize on front derailleur and it comes with the following:

    - Carbon fork which has been cut to "x" mm (length to be filled in shortly - just going giving the bike a service now before Wexford 2 Day next week and measure it)
    - 2 x aero seatpost
    - Headset & carbon spacers
    - 2 carbon bottle cages
    - 2 spare dropouts (as well as existing dropout so 3 in total - I've never had problems with original)
    - Carbon handlebars, flat tops, 420mm

As mentioned in the title, I want to keep riding right until the day before I leave so the bike can be collected from around 2pm on 24-AUG-2013 but can be viewed before then. Present condition is very good. The frame has 1 or 2 cosmetic marks on it from where I mounted a light and saddle bag. It has a minor scratch on the fork which is NOT a crack. I noticed it about 9 months ago and have monitored it but it has not grown. Could have been anything that caused it but not a crash as the bike has never been crashed (was close on a few occasions alright but touch wood it will remain that way). I have a new spare fork with an uncut steerer (ordered it with the bike as it's no harm having spares) but didn't deem it necessary to replace. This would add 90 euro to the price I've listed below if wanted. It also comes with a spare seat post.

I insured the bike with cyclesure.ie in February but I'm not sure if insurance can be transferred. I emailed them today to find out if it can but I think it is unlikely. There are 3 stickers on the bike which are used for ID purposes and as athief deterrent as they've easily visible. The bike can be identified if stickers are removed as it has been marked with ultraviolet fluid through the lasercut stickers. The bike has also been registered with retainagroup as part of the insurance. For more info see here. I think that sums it up. Any questions, feel free to ask.

Price is 400 euro or 490 including the spare fork. No offers. Oldlegs was saying he wanted 1st refusal. All pics will be uploaded here.

Note: Slight paint chipping due to chain drop. Cosmetic only. Have since put on a chain catcher.

These were the bars when new. Have tape on them now.

Lovely frame, seen it the other week when I gave Phil a lift to a race, too small for me sadly as I am on the lookout for a new frame. Best of luck with the sale.
