Think I saw that on KickStarter a few years ago. Honestly I don't see the point. MPG is so variable that honestly if your driving to save a few cents (And thats what we're talking about here) then its just mindless. Especially if your paying quite a decent sum of money for an App to tell you the same thing.

I know my car does roughly 360 miles to a tank. I was lucky that for for 6 months I had a very similar commute and could get some decent data on it. So I just starting keeping notes and seeing what happened. Tried driving like a granny, then normally, tried with cheaper fuel, tried with major brands. The overall difference was between 360 and 380 miles to empty. And the biggest difference was when I used Esso (or major brand) over the likes of Tesco or Topaz.

I know this App does abit more than MPG calculations but I just don't see the point of them really. Its false economy in my eyes.
