    Just wondering what has been the reaction to Reza Aslans book which is at #1 on Amazon.

    I finished it and found it pretty good, more a historical study. What do you guys think?

    It's bad scholarship and just another work of "historical fiction". Reza cites no source documents for his outlandish claims in the book and seems to just make it up in his head as his best explanation of events. Have a search in YouTube for Jimmy Akins review of the book as well. He gives a succinct and very good review of the book.

    His research is pretty extensive. If you read the 80 or so pages of Notes at the end of the Book.

    Bad scholarship I could not apply to the book, While I don't agree with is conclusions, because they are HIS conclusions, I think he has written a good book.
