Yeah your right only 407 too. Which would be a better deal this laptop or the HP ultra book for 299 sterling that was mentioned on this thread few days back.

Depends on your preference really. Bigger screen and more powerful VS thinner and light weight.

Bought one of these four years back out of Argos for just over the €450 mark.
    http://www.msi.com/product/nb/CR700.html

The processor was a dual core celeron, came with a Nvidia 8200M G graphics card, 4 gigs of ram and a 500gb hard drive. Oh and it was a massive 17 inch screen. Operating system was Windows 7 home standard (so no microsoft office).

So based on that it seems, to me, to be pretty well priced.

Alternatively you may want to check, or make a post in the laptop section: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=529
The advice on buying there is great, along with being able to check what other people have bought.

Lot of money for Intel Celeron based laptop me thinks . You could get a dell Inspiron 15 with below specs for 469. Less disc space but better processor.

    Much better deals around online,
like this HP delivered for around 390€ delivered.

    Much better processor :
    Intel® Core™ i3-3217U v Intel Celeron dual core 3110M
    Same Ram
HD has 32GB SSD, you will notice the start up speed being hugely increased!
Normal HD is only 320GB vs 1000GB, but who really needs that much space?
Screen size is slightly smaller(more portable)
    Lighter, 1.75KG vs 2.2KG+

EDIT, turns out the 'Intel Celeron dual core 3110M processor at 2.4GHz processor speed'
is infact an i3 processor unless they have made an even bigger mistake.

If its the i3, then its the Intel Core i3-3110M @ 2.40GHz, which is better than the HP's processor.
But they might have the 3110m wrong either, in which case it is only a Celeron dual core.
    You might need to email/ring.
