Circa 1992, Z-Peugeot replica lightweight steel racing frame (Reynolds 653), paintwork has few chips and marks, particularly the forks.
Fitted out with 2yr old 8 speed Sora drivetrain (chainset is Truvativ triple).
Calipers are 1992 Shimano 105, Hubs are 2009 Shimano 105 6500, rims are mix of 2010 CompactSL 6500 and 2012 Mavic Open Pro. Selle Italia Turbo saddle with some damage (see photo). Cinelli Bars and Stem. New single side SPD (non-SL) pedals of unknown brand. New tyres will be needed, but everything else is in good working order.

Frame is 22.5", I'm 6ft and think it's a bit small for me.

    400 euro o.n.o.

Can be seen in Dublin City Center during normal business hours, otherwise North County Dublin

Here's a photo of the real Z-Peugeot in action behind Martin Early

Would you sell the frame, seat tube, brake calipers, stem and handlebars on their own? I'm considering retiring my alu training frame and moving all the bits to a steel frame.

if somebody didn't want the wheels I'd be willing to split (you can never have enough spare wheels right?).

I want to avoid selling parts, but I'll reconsider if somebody comes on here looking for the drivetrain (cassette, chain, levers, chainset & gears)

No worries I'm not in any rush. If it's still on sale in a few weeks we can look at all the options.

    A couple of questions:
What length is the head tube?
What length is the top tube?
Are there any dents or rust on the frame/fork?
    How much without the wheels?

How much would you be looking for for the wheels?

In the process of salvaging a late 80's Raleigh Pursuit and need to find a set of wheels!

Those wheels are from 2009 with a modern cassette, not ideal for your bike. You should get something with a freewheel that has either 5,6 or 7 cogs on it if you plan on using downtube shifters.

In that case, ignore my previous post op!

Didn't have the bike at the weekend so couldn't get those measurements.
Downtube/seattube is 59.5cm from axis of BB to Top of downtube/seattube

    Top tube is 58cm
    Headtube is 17.5cm
Also, stem is 12cm from front of handlebars to axis of headset/steerer bolt

Slight surface rust on lower end of front forks, you can just about make out the brownish colour in the pics.

    No dents whatosever.

Reckon the wheels are worth 80 including tyres/tubes and freewheel (but not cassette), so asking for 320 for the remainder of the bike.

Would you take €280 minus the wheels, pending a quick inspection, I'm not too far from NCD.

At a wedding this weekend, Sunday would suit better if you're available then?

Thanks , I had one of these From 1989 until 1992. I sold it to make way for a new bike. I soon regretted selling it. When I saw this one for sale, I decided to buy it. I thought I had messed up,when Colm-gti bought it. I was thrilled, when he withdrew from purchase.
I am going to restore the bike. I'll have it resprayed in the original colours and hang some nice new goodies on it. I reckon, I'll have it on the road by 1st May, next year.
Thanks GlennaMaddy. Great dealing with you.
