I hope for your sake that's it's the motor, as the steering column in my c3 went and it cost me €475 to have it replaced.

I'd imagine it's in the linkage.
    Is the motor spinning?
The arm that connects to the motor works on a ball joint and may have popped out of place.
But if the car is only 4 weeks old I would be bringing it back to the dealer.

Get the dealer to collect the car and fix it.

I'll be bringing it back to the dealer in the morning , hopefully it wont be raining , but it would be covered under warranty ..... I just want to get a heads up on what it could be and if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Don't forget to arrange a replacement car for while yours is being repaired.
