Question about player rating..

One of my players, this guy: http://en.soccerwiki.org/player.php?pid=50322

Was taking a look to see if he looks likely for a rating rise at all, but you can't recommend a rating higher than 85 for him. Does that mean he is stuck at 85? Is it possible for him to go higher?

If I'd just signed him I'd be delighted with that. He's massively overrated at 90 but should hold that level for some time now. Maybe until he retires.

Its got to do with his age/league he is playing in..... The leagues are capped, i.e. the better quality the league the higher rating cap, but eventually he will rise by the looks of those comments...

I would not expect any time soon though if he is capped at 85

I have two 85's at the back, both seemingly capped at 85 but still young.. If they're going to be stuck at 85 I'll move them on but otherwise I might just hold onto them..

Exactly!! And I am delighted with that too. 5.7m for a 90 rated player is still a bargain, regardless of age!!

Yup, I did the same.....I actually think it's a "not bad" offer!! :P Leaving go two strong players but 90 rated forwards aren't cheap!!

Right guys, I've rejected some of the offers on Giovinco, and I'm still considering the remainder of the offers. Apologies to those managers that haven't been successful, but I feel that the remaining bids offer me the best value!

Current offers:

• Udinese Calcio - 27.0M.
• SL Benfica - 20.0M + Zakaria BAKKALI.
• Athletic Club - 16.5M + Ibai GÓMEZ + Luiz EDUARDO.
• Beşiktaş JK - 22.0M + Atınç NUKAN + Hasan TÜRK.

I set the deadline at 8pm this evening, and a final decision will be made at that time!

Can't believe you rejected the Auxerre bid. It was clearly the most well thought offer of the bunch. The manager obviously really wanted the player by throwing his full balance at him.

Right lads, with 10 minutes left, I've narrowed it down to two bids, one from Benfica, one from Porto.
He's going to Portugal unless someone comes back in in the nest few minutes....

To the bidders I've just rejected, I feel that the two straight cash deals offered me less options than the p/ex deals, so that's why I've rejected them, even though they were huge sums.
The p/ex deals I've rejected - I think the two bids that remain are better options.
