D2/D4/City Center hotels with late check-out

I'm going to a gig in a couple of weeks in Dublin with the other half and currently looking at hotels for it. Plan on having a night out after the gig so don't really want to be checking out at 11am, as late as possible the next day would be great.

Any of the big search engines I've checked (ebookers, hotels.com, orbitz and a few others) dont seem to have a search option for late checkout for narrowing results which is rather annoying. Going to individual hotels websites seems to only result in "late checkout possibly available, depending on demand". Nothing guaranteed. One or two had "Romantic Getaway" style deals that included a 2pm checkout with dinner, drinks, breakfast and a few other things included for a very inflated price. We've already got plans for the evening/next morning though so dont need any of that, especially not paying an extra 80eur+ for it unnecessarily. Just want a normal room with a late checkout really.

Does anyone here know any hotels that allow for guaranteed late-checkout at booking for a Friday night in the D2/D4/city center area?

I wouldn't know of any specific hotel but if you are booking direct and mention it as a primary reason for your booking then most hotels would facilitate it. It is usually at an extra charge though and there is a limit about how late they'll go, which is dependent on new check-ins and what time the chamber maids finish their shift. Still if you ask you should be able to get a 2pm check out, just make sure to ask before you book, not after.

Book room only - breakfast might be finished if you leave it to after 10/11!

Hotels can't guarantee late checkouts usually, it depends on how busy the hotel is the next night and how many housekeeping staff show up the next day. Particularly on a Friday night, Saturday night tends to be the busiest night of the week for hotels.

Maldron does late check out until 4pm for 20 extra. They have a hotel in D2 in Cardiff Lane - Beside BGE Theatre
