Anyone know if any of the established pubs like Salt House or Bierhaus do beer tasting evenings? I will call in to SaltHouse later and ask the lads but just wondering if anyone knows if it's a regular thing? I was at a nice beer tasting evening in Lohans in Salthill last year and enjoyed it. Would be good to see the Cottage Group or the Bierhaus folks doing something!

I reckon the cottage group will put one together soon enough themselves.
Otherwise, I'm probably going to be arranging some beer tastings around the country in the coming months or early next year. The last one I did was at the Black Sheep in Dublin, another cottage group bar. It went very well and was enjoyed by all.

Nothing organised afaik, they will however let you try the various taps free so I suppose it's kind of "tasting"
