    Hi all

Myself and the other half are planning our honeymoon for next year. We were hoping to go to Croatia for ten nights. The plan was do spend 5 days island hoping i.e maybe vis, korcula and then maybe spend the remainder 5 nites in Dubrovnik. I cant book anything yet because i am unable to find a ferry timetable for next year that would take us to these islands. Anyone come across this problem before or know of a workaround????

The alternative was maybe 5 nites in Dubrovnik and 5 nites in Montenegro...?

    Any advice would be great?

just back from dubrovnik, we used a travel company called korkyra for our transfers from korcula to dubrovnik, they do the route a few times a days. if its beach you're after then 2/3 days in dubrovnik is enough then spend the rest of the time in the island. tripadvisor always has a lot of threads on people looking for ferry times so check there if you're thinking about going to other islands.

we also did a day trip to montenegro, kotor to be specific. the drive there was spectacular and i would've liked to have spent a bit more time there but not sure if i would spend 5 days there. theres another place called budva which is supposed to be the main beach destination in montenegro.

Kator is a lovely spot. 5 days is a lot for most of these places.

from dubrovnik to korcula its €20 pp, its about a 2.5 hour bus and boat journey so its not bad. we only did korcula island and would highly recommend it if you're just looking to chill out. most of the beaches in croatia are rocky but there is a lovely sand one in lumbarda.
