I have a galaxy s3 and need to transfer files downloaded on the go to the phone to a NAS in my home over wifi when i get home.

I normally have to connect the samsung to my laptop with its usb cable and then drag the files from the phone to the laptop and then drag them to a network folder on the laptop that points at a folder on the NAS (192.168.1.10/Media - is the folder it points to)

Is there any way of directly transferring the files from my phone to the NAS over wifi without having to transfer them to the laptop first?

    Does your NAS support Dropbox?

Use an android file manager, eg ES File Explorer and connect to the NAS wirelessly over your network.

Dropbox wouldnt be an option due to low bandwidth limit... it would have to be over wifi in the house.
