I'm guitarist (30y, Galway) and I'm looking for a band, jam session - jazz funk, fusion, instrumental rock.

Check out Earthship at Kelly's, alternate Wednesdays I think. Great fusion outfit and they get people up to jam.

Hey mag21 - Karl, the bass player from Earthship here. By all means, do please come and join us at the Wednesday Night Funktion at Kelly's in Galway. It's specifically a jazz-funk jam session, and we invite all musicians to step up and join the band as the night goes on. The next one will be on Wednesday 4th September, 9:30pm, and we'll then be playing every Wednesday in September. You should meet some like-minded musicians there, and we're hoping that we can kickstart some sort of a jazz-funk scene in Galway this way, by encouraging these musicians to play together and start up new bands.
