Garmin Approach S1 cracked screen

I have a Garmin Approach S1 and cracked the screen while loading the clubs in my car. The watch still works but over time the crack could become a problem. I took it to fast fix in Dundrum and they did not want to know. I emailed Garmin asking for a replacement screen but they said they don't do repairs but could repair it for me if I send them £62 and pay for shipping and handling myself.

Anybody know of a cheaper solution. Even some sort of glue to protect the watch as I only wear it on the course. Ascetics are not essential.

    Cling film, sellotape combo?

The screen protectors that they sell for iphones or similar would surely do if cut to size.

Agreed, seems to be the exact same strap & casing as the Garmin forerunner 210 or 110 and you can buy screen protectors pre cut for those on eBay or Amazon.

    e.g.

    Nice find!
Have an S1 myself might just stick one on to safeguard the screen a bit better.

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually have the screen protectors. Typically though I did not have one on at the time. I make sure to have one on all the time now.
