I bought a Google Nexus 7 3G last week and I got a Vodafone Micro sim card yesterday. I registered the micro sim online and it has credit on it to use it. I tried it today and It is telling me to sign on to the vodafone network. There is a full signal and mobile data is switched on. What am I missing?

    APN??

Guide here, for Vodafone Smart Tab II 7, none for the Nexus...but there should be similarities....

I have checked the APN settings. Everything seems fine. I have requested on Vodafone community forum to have the micro sim activated. There is H or 3G next to the signal bar and I have a full signal. No connectivity though. Everytime I switch on data I get a message asking me to sign onto the Vodafone network which appears in the top left hand corner. When I click on it it tries to open a web page but it says invalid request.

OK, you can request activation here:

I linked to the last page, so you are probably already there....

    best of luck. IP

I have had the sim activated. Thanks for the info. It is still not working though. There is a H or a 3G symbol showing next to the signal strength bar and I have a full signal but I still can't open any webpages. I am registered on the vodafone network but everytime I turn on the mobile data I get asked to sign into the vodafone network. It is very frustrating. No one else seems to have the same issue. I have searched everywhere.
